Completed for a Research Design course, this literature review examines the negative health outcomes of non-comprehensive sexual education in rural populations in the United States.
This piece showcases my ability to:
- Gather relevant peer-reviewed articles from various data bases
- Evaluate and summarize research articles in a comprehensive manner
- Write for an academic setting
Completing this literature review allowed me to learn more about a topic that I am interested in and further understand why attention is needed on this topic. Examining the negative health outcomes of non-comprehensive sex education for rural populations can point to where interventions and policies must be created in order to address this public health issue.
