Written for a course on health policy, this policy memo addresses possible solutions towards combating Georgia’s opioid crisis. Purposed for consideration by Brian Kemp, Georgia’s Governor, this policy memo details various solutions to limit opioid usage and decrease negative health outcomes from opioid usage. Below is the policy memo that offers detailed analysis of each proposed solution and provides a recommendation as to which option is most appropriate to be considered in the interest of public health.
