For my final semester at the University of Georgia, I will be completing a 300 hour internship with Compassionate Care Hospice. Compassionate Care Hospice works to advance the well-being and honor the dignity of those they serve. Throughout my experience interning with this organization, I will work to provide a positive and enjoyable experience for patients and serve as a resource for both patients and office staff. It will be a part of my role to contribute to office and hospice team needs. This opportunity will allow me to gain hands on experience in a healthcare setting while also gaining insight in the administrative and behind the scenes work of a hospice organization. I will expand my public health knowledge and skills while learning how to best provide comprehensive care to a specific population.
